Scheduled work was carried out recently on both Cora, our Bavaria 36 “Deep Keel” and Magi a Bavaria 40 “Cruiser”.
Both yachts were lifted to the boat yard for anti fouling, complete hull cut, polish & wax, engine service, internal varnishing and general maintenance inside and out.
Our local Volvo dealer, service agent and chandlery Deamon Services, under the leadership of Mark were tasked with the engineering jobs while our own team busied themselves with sanding, cutting & polishing & painting both the yachts to a high standard. They look great!
Next in line is HITEC our “Canary Sail Islands Cruise” yacht, a Jeanneau DS 43, scheduled for work in November. Again the complete hull, top side and deck will be brought back to former glory by the Canary Sail team, headed now by Sam Haskins a qualified Marine Engineer. Sam has recently joined Canary Sail to oversee maintenance, spares and yacht and safety gear servicing procedures.
Another update soon when HITEC is ready to glide, even more gracefully through the Atlantic waters taking you, our clients to the beautiful Western and Eastern Canary Islands on your mileage building cruise – with sail coaching for those wishing to improve their sailing knowledge and skipper skills.
