So when Chris, our current Fast Track RYA Yachtmaster realised that he had no crew for his charter last week – what else could we do but go sailing with him? Somebody had to do it! And our good friend Radu joined us as well!
We sailed from San Sebastian in La Gomera to Garachico on the North West side of Tenerife on the first day. From there, we sailed for about 38 hours to Rubicon, Fuertaventura – enjoying a very comfortable 3 on and 3 off watch system. A short stay before sailing to Gran Tarajal, Lanzarote and then on to Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria.
After a good rest, breakfast and a bit of shopping, we sailed back home to Marina San Miguel, Tenerife!
Although a bit tired and now needing regular naps – it was a fantastic mile building cruise week that left everyone feeling exhilerated and smiling!!
