Very few schools offered the combined Comp Crew & Day Skipper option, of those Canary Sail was the only one I found in tidal waters (and a warm climate). Guaranteed own cabin.

Steve was an excellent instructor. He not only thoroughly covered the Competent Crew course but also included areas that would be very useful if we were sailing as a family. He was always happy and kept us as a family very happy, upbeat and removed so much stress from many “sailing situations”.

Jim gave excellent advice & recommendation on theory reading & exercises before the course. Vicki & Andrea very helpful & polite. Darrin cheerful & knowledgeable. Peter was friendly & polite, with lots of patience. Had a whale of a time. Everything was tickety boo!
