Steve made our introduction to sailing fabulous & very enjoyable. Aided by Daan and Rose we had a great time and learnt a lot, what a fab crew. After spending a week with Steve that was most enjoyable I wasn’t sure what to expect when Emma was our instructor. She was as good as Steve and learning different methods to do the same thing was great. The location appealed, all year sunshine. Good sailing conditions, for both inexperienced and experienced crew. Friendly and helpful people both shore and sea based.

I asked an experienced skipper friend to ask around for a good school & the answer was Canary Sail. Tony can adapt to any level of intensity of training and ability, experience of sailing. He can deliver the highest level of training with a great holiday. These were my 11th & 12th weeks with Canary Sail-enough said…

Very good course and still also a holiday. Very good teacher, always friendly, patient and explained things very well. She repeated when you didn’t understand and gave a compliment when you did it well! Very motivating!

Steve was a great instructor, allowed us to make mistakes, but I always felt safe, at all times, that he could, when needed, rectify any errors I made. I have gone from having a romantic view of sailing to having a much more fun and realistic understanding-it is even better than I thought! Loved it!

Boats brilliantly maintained, very client-need focussed, friendly, supportive & confidence building. We will be back. On both occasions the instructors have been patient, inspiring & enabled me to grow in confidence.
