Fantastic week. Fun, sun, and learned a lot about sailing!

Please could you pass on my enormous thanks to Tony for giving us such a great week and teaching us so much and so gently! It couldn’t have been better and please could you tell him that we have subsequently spent 4 days sailing in the Solent with my husband and he was very impressed with our new skills and confidence! Also thanks to everybody for being so welcoming and helpful. We are really keen to come back!

Our best ever summer holiday!

Steve was excellent. Great guy and teacher.

The grand harbour wowed us as did many of the places Gareth took us to. Highlights included anchoring to watch the jazz festival, the blue lagoon, fungus rock and a quiet night in horse shoe bay. The sailing was exciting, we had chance to practice our Competent Crew and Graham his Day Skipper, all quietly observed by Gareth and a sneaky Man over Board by him put our skills to the test. All in all we had an excellent time. The boat was very well provisioned (Thank you for that Vicky) and we were glad to have “Gourmet Gareth” on board with his iron stomach cooking pasta in the swell.

You’ve got a great instructor in Steve, and I suspect the same for the rest of your team. I appreciate you have some changes with new instructors coming in, and old ones leaving. I hope you can keep, and build upon, the teams spirit.

Course instruction – professional and clear, Atlantic Ocean – Challenging, overall experience – absolutely exhilarating! Thanks to all the Canary Sail team for a fantastic holiday.

As usual with Canary Sail, the yacht was well equipped and handled well, sailed with a fantastic crew, and enjoyed Malta (there’s an awful lot of ´historical´ sightseeing to do there). I particularly enjoyed sailing through the night, as its not something I’ve done before, but am looking forward to doing so again.

Friendly atmosphere meet here during my first visit and strong recommendation from a friend.
