For those of you who have read our previous Yachtmaster Fastrack blog (see below), this is an update on our successful progress and record of more recent Yachtmaster Offshore Exam programs.
Since our last post, some 12 “Fastrack” clients have passed through our sailing school. Each has joined us at an appropriate stage in the program. Some with previous experience “dovetail” into the scheme with Canary Sail to continue and complete sail training & qualification to Yachtmaster Offshore and more recently, also Yachtmaster Ocean levels. With the exception of 1 client, all passed!
Our “Fastrack” clients take advantage of the flexibility Canary Sail offer. Some have taken breaks between courses, flown home to family for a few weeks, attended that important meeting or simply taken an unscheduled break to catch breath before continuing. Canary Sail can accommodate such reasonable requests or changes to individual´s programs and to date have always found a solution.
Feedback has been great! Flexibility, personal attention and above all a sense of team fun have been among the kind comments received.
Canary Sail also have a further 6-8 booked or potential “Yachtmaster Fastrack” candidates lined up for the post virus period. Bookings are already in for Yachtmaster Exam weeks in the 1st 2 weeks of October. One or, if necessary 2 weeks/month planned through the “Winter Sun” sailing season here.
Two of these potential clients will complete their programs with Canary Sail over a 12 month period to accommodate other family and business commitments.
Demand for this internationally popular RYA qualification grows! Just back in February this year, Canary Sail ran no less than 3 consecutive RYA Yachtmaster Exam weeks. From a total of 9 candidates, 8 passed Yachtmaster Coastal/Offshore level and 2 went onto pass their RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Exams.
